Air Jordan 14 Retro Candy Cane Varsity Red 487471-100 – 2019 Retro

$130.00

The Air Jordan 14 Retro "Candy Cane" — officially released as "White/Black-Varsity Red" — is one of the most iconic colorways in the entire Jordan 14 catalog. Style code 487471-100, from the 2019 retro run.

Originally released Halloween 1998 at $150, the Candy Cane was the first Air Jordan 14 to hit retail — dropping months before the "Last Shot" black/red version MJ actually wore in the 1998 Finals against the Jazz. Because it landed first, the Candy Cane became the face of the silhouette and never gave that spot up. It's an MJ signature shoe he never wore in a game, but it's still the pair collectors reach for first.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield with direct inspiration from Michael Jordan's Ferrari 550 Maranello — full-grain white leather upper with ribbed and perforated detailing across the quarter panel and heel, curving Varsity Red accents flowing through the midsole, forefoot, and heel, and black detailing that anchors the color story. Seven Jumpman emblems per shoe, one for each Jordan iteration through the 14.

The 2019 retro also restored a key detail: the functional air vent on the upper. Previous 2006 (311832-101) and 2012 (487471-101) retros had the vent sealed off — this 2019 version brought back the working vent from the 1998 original, one of the details Tinker pulled straight from MJ's Ferrari.

Full-length carbon fiber support shank in the midsole, Zoom Air cushioning, and a herringbone rubber outsole for grip. This is the pair that anchors any Jordan 14 collection.

All items arrive exactly as pictured. Quality guaranteed.
